The Football Association of England (FA) has agreed to extend the 2019/2020 season, while extending the suspension of all leagues by at least April 30.
Last week, the FA stopped the English Premier League (EPL), English Football League, domestic competition and women’s professional matches following the outbreak of the Covid-19 outbreak that was affecting the sports world.
The FA board has confirmed that this season will continue even beyond June 1 to complete the 2019/20 season league finals.
The FA, Premier League, EFL and women’s professional game, together with the PFA and LMA are committed to finding ways of resuming the 2019/20 football season as soon as it is safe and possible to do so

According to league rules, this season should end no later than June 1, 2020, but all precautions are taken to ensure this league is completed.
