A plague doctor was actually a physician who treated victims of the bubonic plague during the epidemics time. All of these physicians were hired by cities to treat infected patients regardless of income, especially the poor that could not afford to pay. This particular Plague Doctor is also known as SCP-049. Nowadays, Plague Doctor often got depicted in Halloween costumes and is seen as a symbol of death and also disease. This is such a scary mindset of any individual.
The physical features of this Plague Doctor could always be seen as a human being wearing a black in color thick robe and also usually will be wearing a special shape mask that is shaped like a bird’s beak. There are some believes going around the communities saying that Plague Doctor could be immune towards diseases that can cause death.
Because of the special features for having an immune towards any diseases that could cause death, the Plague Doctor has successfully managed to survive the ‘Black Death’ disease during the 14th century. The Plague Doctor has all the freedom to practice any knowledge that the doctor knows during the ‘Black Death’ disease pandemic. Because of the freedom blessed upon the Plague Doctor, the doctor frequently practiced malpractice up until the Plague Doctor has been associated with the Angel of Death.
The reason behind the beaked plague masks was a misconception about the very nature of the dangerous disease. The particular beak wore by the Plague Doctor is actually filled with perfume and provided with only two holes, one on each side near the nostrils, but that can suffice to breathe and also carry along with the air one breathes the impression of the herbs enclosed further along in the beak.

Coffee has become a go-to drink for lots of people especially those who are working. Most of us can’t get through our day without having a sip of our coffee first.
Now, we are very familiar with different types of coffee such as cappuccino, latte, black coffee, espresso, and many more. But have you heard or tried a coffee called ‘sukku malli’ ?
It all started during the second MCO. Ammayi used to make her own style of traditional coffee like how her mother would do it in the 60s. With help from her niece, Kanmani, they have managed to take their small business online and didn’t expect that it will go so viral.
Sinnamah is Ammayi’s real name. She was born in 1941 in Kampung Columbia, Perak. She began cooking when she was just 12 years old, following her mother’s traditional recipe from Southern India, who was also a first-generation Indian in Malaysia. Ammayi enjoys cooking with her own organic vegetables that she grows by herself at her home.
Ammayi has become the biggest inspiration for those who know her. She’s turning 80 years next year and is still going strong. Her desire is that the upcoming generations know and practice traditions that have been in existence.
Sukku Malli Coffee
